Why we carry it

Why we put Decora in our showroom.

Decora is made by MasterBrand, one of the largest cabinet manufacturers in the country. We reach for it when a homeowner or designer has a specific look in mind and wants the cabinet built to match it. You can order almost any door style in maple, cherry, quartersawn oak, rustic alder, or walnut, then finish it in one of Decora's paints or stains or a custom color matched to anything you bring us.

Because each order is built to your specifications, a Decora kitchen runs about four to eight weeks, and we would rather give you that window up front than promise a date we cannot hit.

Door styles

A door style for almost any kitchen.

Decora makes around thirty door styles, from classic raised panels to clean modern slabs. Here are six we sell most often. Each one comes in maple, cherry, quartersawn oak, rustic alder, and walnut.

Harmony

The Shaker that works everywhere.

A clean recessed panel in a square frame, Harmony is the style most of our customers land on. It looks modern in a white paint and warm in a natural wood, which is why it shows up in farmhouse, transitional, and contemporary kitchens alike. A slab drawer front is available if you want an even simpler look.

Available in maple, cherry, quartersawn oak, rustic alder, and walnut.

Russell

Slim, tailored Shaker.

Russell narrows the frame for a more tailored, furniture-like look. It suits painted kitchens in soft greens and grays especially well. A slab drawer front option keeps the lower cabinets looking sleek.

Available in maple, cherry, quartersawn oak, rustic alder, and walnut.

Thea

Modern with a soft edge.

Thea is the pick for a contemporary kitchen that still feels warm. The thin frame and flat center panel keep it simple without going fully slab. It pairs well with quartersawn oak and the lighter painted tones.

Available in maple, cherry, quartersawn oak, rustic alder, and walnut.

Prescott

Traditional raised panel.

Prescott is a true raised-panel door for homeowners who want a classic, substantial kitchen. It looks at home in cherry and the deeper stains. A slab or five-piece drawer front lets you set the formality where you want it.

Available in maple, cherry, quartersawn oak, rustic alder, and walnut.

Sloan

Clean lines, modern feel.

Sloan is a flat recessed panel with crisp, squared edges, built for modern and industrial kitchens. It carries dark paints like Jet and natural walnut beautifully. A five-piece drawer front is available if you want the drawers to match the doors exactly.

Available in maple, cherry, quartersawn oak, rustic alder, and walnut.

Marquis

Full slab, fully modern.

Marquis is a flat slab door for the most contemporary kitchens, with no frame or panel to break up the wood grain or color. It shows off walnut and the bolder painted tones, and it pairs best with Decora's solid paints, stains, and semi-translucent finishes.

Available in maple, cherry, quartersawn oak, rustic alder, and walnut.

Built around you

How far you can take it.

This is where Decora earns the designer favorite label. Three things set it apart from a standard cabinet order.

  • Match any color

Color By Number reproduces any Sherwin-Williams color on maple, MDF, or quartersawn oak. The Bespoke program goes further and matches a color from almost anything you bring in, down to a tile or a piece of pottery.

  • Hand-applied finishing

Highlights, brushed finishes, ceruse, and light distressing are applied by hand to add depth and age to the finish. You also choose between a matte and a satin sheen on the final coat.

  • Inset and five woods

Most door styles come in beaded or non-beaded inset, the higher-end construction you usually find on full custom cabinetry. You also pick the wood, from maple and cherry to quartersawn oak, rustic alder, and walnut.

Finishes

Color is where Decora opens up.

Decora's finish library is the deepest of any line we carry. It splits into named paints, named stains by wood species, and custom-matched color. Here are ten our customers pick most. The full library runs to dozens of options across five woods.
